What was the first song you ever wrote?

ANDY: The first song I ever wrote was a song for my
daughter Kew. I called it Kewsong. You can find
it on two of my CD's, Lost Cowboy and Play It Again!

How old are you?

ANDY: I am 42 years young!

June 28, 2011 - Bethany, 5, Weatherford, OK
What is your favorite kind of pizza? What is the strangest pizza you have ever eaten or heard of??

ANDY: Hey Bethany, thanks for your question and sorry it took me so long to reply. My favorite pizza is just plain cheese, and the strangest one I have ever eaten was when my family went to Pizza Hut when I was a kid and my brother wanted the pizza with "everything" on it. Let's just say that "everything" included anchovies....enough said!

What cities have you played in and where have you played? Do you have any pets?

ANDY: Hey Tova, thanks for your questions. I have played in a lot of cities and mostly I play at libraries or schools. Here are a few cities that I have visited to perform: Dallas/Ft. Worth, Casper, Ft. Collins, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Lubbock, Amarillo, Cheyenne, Midland/Odessa and Tampa. I do have pets. I have two cats.

what has been the farthest place you ever traveled to? Aslo do you like the movie twilight and Kung Fu Panda? cause i do.

ANDY: Hey Brianna, thank you for your questions. The farthest place I have travelled to is Australia. It took nearly 15 hours to fly there. Can you imagine? 15 hours on an airplane! I haven't seen the Twilight movies or read any of the books, but I am a BIG fan of the Kung Fu Panda......SKI-DOOSH!

Dear Andy, Do you still answer questions from your website?

ANDY: Hey Brianna, thank you for your question. Yes! I got a little busy, but I do try and answer every question. Sorry it took me so long to reply.

June 17, 2012 - Chris Beach, Clovis, New Mexico
Question: Hey Andy, we came to see you at Cannon yesterday, I brought my 3 boys and my dog, Kona. Was checking out your website and got to thinking about your "Smile" song and mission. Have you ever thought of making a children's book from the song, then in the cover you could have a pocket with the musical CD. Since you perform at a lot of libraries I think moms would like to buy something like that and support your cause. Kona and I read with a lot of children and I love books that are also songs. Just a thought. And, what's your favorite flavor of gum?

ANDY: Hey Chris, thank you for your questions. I think a "Smile" book is a fantastic idea! And my favorite flavor of gum is spearmint.

June 27, 2012 - Savina, 12, Phoenix, AZ
Why don't you put your kitty on photos? I would love to see your kitty (again). Oh, and the alien pizza. I told my bro that i would show him but you don't have it on photos. Can you put those on photos, please?

ANDY: Hey Savina, thank you for your question. More photos of peanut butter sandwich? OK. I will add one to the "photos" page very soon. I added the Alien Pizza to the "home" page and the "photos" page. I hope your brother gets to see it.

What encouraged you to play the guitar? Like, did your dad play or you got inspired by a famous guitar player or what?

ANDY: Hey Savina, thank you for your question. My Dad didn't play the guitar, but he loved music. The Beach Boys were one of his favorite groups. My older siblings play guitar and they inspired me to play. Also, I always enjoyed singing and I wanted to learn guitar so I could sing my favorite songs. By the way, I think your idea for a song about where I got all the stickers on my guitar is GENIUS!

Dec 11, 2013 - Alex(andra), 8, Las Cruces, NM
You look really tall, how tall are you?

ANDY: Hey Alexandra, thank you for your question. I am 6 feet and 3 inches tall. One time when I was in Mexico, I was leaving a little store and a young girl came around the corner and bumped into me....she looked up and said "el gigante!"

Are you a Steelers Fan?

ANDY: Hey Alexandra, thank you for your question. I am indeed a Steelers fan. I lived in Pittsburgh when I was a kid. The Steelers won 4 Superbowls before I turned 11.
